It has been awhile since I posted last. I really don't have any quilting news. Last week I taught a Spinning Pinwheel class at A Different Touch up in Chesapeake. I love every one's color choices. They are all so different. I took some pictures of the cotton fields around here. I love it when the cotton is in bloom. They all look so soft and comfortable. I know they aren't but they sure do look like little pillows.
I also want to show you my porch. I love Halloween and I love to decorate. I really don't think I have a lot of decorations until I start to put them away. This weekend I am going to Hiddenite, NC. The guild there does a little Symposium every year in November. I have always wanted to go, so this year I am going. I am really looking forward to it. I promised you a picture of a quilt that my friends Jackie and Dee made for the hospital scholarship fund. Dee embroidered it and Jackie quilted it. Dee is is in the
picture. The other picture is one of my students who took my gingerbread house class at guild. I just love the quilt. It just makes you happy.Remember to thread your needle every day!
