College of the Albemarle Class

I am back from my trip from Michigan and I am happy to be back in the nice warm weather of North Carolina.
I have been mentioning my COA class and I haven't posted any pictures so I thought that I would post some today. The first picture is my block. I thought that it was pretty when I was working on it but then my students made theirs.

They are so beautiful! I always like my students block better than my own. They are so creative.
I have enjoyed teaching the class. They learned to machine applique, do half square and quarter square triangles, flying geese, and Y seams.
The class is eight weeks and they got a lot of information.

My guild(www.cqlguild.com) is having their Day of Sharing this weekend. I am sorry that I am going to miss it. I am sure that there will be a lot of pretty quilts there.

Remember to thread your needle every day!

Robin
